Beef Barley Soup - TastyPlanner.com

Old family soup thats so yummy. Can be cooked in slow cooker or right on the stove!
Ingredients
2 cups barley (soak overnight)
1 onion
3 carrots, sliced
3 Celery, sliced
16 oz Tomato sauce
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 pound chuck beef, sliced into edible cubes and browned
2 cubes bouillon
1 dash Steak Sauce (or Soy Sauce or Worcestershire Sauce)
1 Turnip (cubed)
3 Potatoes (cubed)
Instructions
Combine all the ingredients in a soup pot.
Fill with water covering to the desired soup level.
Bring to a boil, being careful not to burn the bottom.
Reduce to simmer or low heat and cook for 3 hours.
Enjoy.
