Chocolate Cream Frosting

Ingredients
3/4 cup whipping cream or heavy cream
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, finely chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
Heat cream over medium heat just to boiling. Remove from heat, and add chopped chocolate. Stir until the chocolate has melted and mixture is smooth. Once the mixture has cooled a little, stir in the vanilla.
Let frosting sit at room temperature until it is thick enough to spread. This can take an hour or two (or more).
