You can purchase Matcha from a variety of online tea merchants. Here are some of the vendors I personally recommend:
Harney & Sons (www.harney.com/matcha.html) Their Matcha ranges from $12-28 an oz (very reasonable).
TeaGschwender (www.teamerchants.com) also has a nice Matcha (as well as the exquisite and rare Match Hikari with is roughly $40.00/oz!)
If you would just like to try some Matcha for smoothies, lattes, and baking, try MatchaSource (www.matchasource.com). You can purchase 3.5 oz for $16.00. MatchaSource also sells the whisks and basins for traditional tea ceremonies.
However, if you are an avid green tea lover, opt for the higher grades and enjoy the smooth silky ride.

Ingredients
1 tsp matcha (fine powdered green tea)
1/4 c. hot water
3/4 c. steamed milk
Instructions
Place matcha into a bowl. Add hot water into a bowl and whisk with a bamboo whisk or an egg whisk. Add steamed milk.
Serve with sugar or honey for a sweeter flavour.
