Everyone has had spicy chili. While growing up my parents did a little twist and made theirs sweet. We also enjoy eating this chili on a bed of steamed rice topped with cheddar cheese and sour cream.
Ingredients
2 lbs. ground beef
1 pack of sausage
2 Large cans tomato sauce
2 Large cans diced tomato's
2 cans tomato paste
6 Cans kidney beans
1 diced onion
Instructions
Fry up the hamburger and diced onion until brown. Then fry up the sausage and set aside. Combine the tomato sauce, kidney beans, diced tomato’s, tomato paste, hamburger, onions, and sausage in a large stock pot. Stir everything together and then season to taste with all of the spices. Do not put the sugar in yet. When it comes to a boil reduce heat and cook for 1-2 hours. Taste again and re-season. When ready add a little sugar to taste. Make sure not to add to much as you can over sweeten. Serve with shredded cheese and sour cream. I like to serve it over a bed of rice.
