A wonderful holiday party drink. Please adjust sugar contents to preferred sweetness level.
Ingredients
8 cups of water
2 cups firmly packed brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon of vanilla
1 salt, pinch
3 sticks cinnamon
6 whole cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups of rum
Whipped cream, topping
Ground Nutmeg, topping
ground nutmeg ; for topping
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into the pot expect for the Rum.
Stir every hour Cover pot and cook on LOW for 4 hours. Add rum according to taste Garnish each cup with whipped cream and nutmeg
