All Your 'Cares-away' Pork Chops - TastyPlanner.com

This is one of those great fun recipes!
Ingredients
3 pork chops
1 tsp margarine
1 cup chopped onions
1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 tsp caraway seed
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 1/2 cups water
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 cup of juice squeezed from 1/2 lemon
Instructions
Brown pork chops on high heat in large, heavy non-stick pan. Remove to a plate.
Lower heat to med, add margarine, and saute the onions in it for 4 min.
Add mushrooms and caraway seeds and fry for another 5 min.
Add the pork chops back in together with the salt and pepper. Cook for 5 min.
Add water, cover, and simmer for 30-40 min.
Serve sprinkled with lemon juice and parsley.
Variation: add 1 cup sauerkraut with the water and reduce the amount of water to 1 cup.
