Mom’s apple crisp. We usually double the recipe for a 13×9″ pan.
4 cups sliced apples (about 4)
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. oats
3/4 t. cinnamon
3/4 t. nutmeg
1/3 c. butter/margarine, softened
Heat oven to 375. Grease square pan, 8×8″.
Place apple slices in pan. Mix remaining ingredients thoroughly. Sprinkle over apples.
Bake 30 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown.
