Baked BBQ Chip Chops - TastyPlanner.com
Chef: Greg Willis
I stumbled upon this great tasting dinner when I was in search of breadcrumbs and none could be found.
Ingredients
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 Tbs butter
2 cups bbq potato chips - ground in mixer preferred
1 piece of white bread - toasted
4 pork chop filets
Instructions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Toast the bread and add the slice with the potato chips to a mixer/chopper and mix until fine. Set aside in a serving bowl.
Coat a glass baking dish (9" preferred) with the melted butter.
Combine milk and eggs and whip thoroughly, set aside in a serving bowl.
Trim excessive fat off the pork chop filets.
Dip each chop first in the milk and then coat both sides of the chop with the bbq crumbs. Set each chop in the buttered baking dish.
Cook for 10 minutes in 450 degree oven. Remove, and turn each chop over and cook for an additional 10 minutes (8-12 mins as for your desired tenderness).
Serve with your favorite vegetable, and enjoy!
*Here’s a tip – try a bit of Stubb’s bbq sauce as a dipping condiment.
