Beef Kefta - TastyPlanner.com

A wonderful little Lebanese dish. Adapted from the version my mother in law taught me.
Ingredients
2 lbs ground beef
1 bunch parsley
4 tbs cinnamon
4 tbs salt
4 tbs extra virgin olive oil
4 tbs lemon juice
2 potatoes
2 onions
1 tomatoe
Instructions
Combine the parsley and 1 onion in a food processor and pulse until minced. Add in the olive oil, cinnamon, 3 tbs of salt, and lemon juice.
Place everything from the mixture into the ground beef and knead until it’s well mixed.
Spread the meat out on the bottom of a Pyrex baking dish in a layer that is about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch thick.
Slice up the potatoes, the remaining onion, and tomato and spread them around on top of the meat. Sprinkle remaining tablespoon of salt over the veggies.
Bake at 350 for 40 mins.
Serve over rice.
