Its rare to find a pie crust recipe with sugar in it. It adds so much! Also, you can use shortening, but it tastes the best with lard!

Ingredients
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup and 1 tbs of shortening or lard
3 Tbs water
2 TBS sugar
Instructions
Makes 1 crust, double recipe if you need a top!
Combine flour salt and sugar, and cut in shortening or lard with pastry cutter thoroughly. Sprinkle in water, and mix with hand until moistened. If dough is too sticky, sprinkle in more flour.
Shape, and roll flat and circular on floured board. Should cover a 10" pie pan.
Getting it into the pan is the tricky part!
After flattened, gently wrap around and roll it onto rolling pin, and unroll into pie pan. If it rips or tears, patch it up as best as you can, after its in the pan.
Bake 475 f for 10 min.
