Blueberry Sauce - TastyPlanner.com
Fresh blueberry sauce goes great with pancakes, waffles, cheesecake, and more!
3 cups blueberries
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoon flour (or 1 tbsp cornstarch)
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
2/3 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Wash and drain blueberries in a colinder. Remove all stems.
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, flour, salt, cinnamon and water. Stir until mixture is smooth. Then add the blueberries.
Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes or until sauce has thickened.
Remove from heat and add lemon juice. Stir until well mixed.
Allow sauce to cool before storing in the refrigerator.
Goes great with pancakes, waffles, cheesecake, ice cream and more!
