Bowtie Pasta with Peas - TastyPlanner.com

Simple one-dish meal. Quick to make, moderate on calories, satisfying. Easily halved to cook for two.
Ingredients
1 pound of bowtie pasta (eg. Barilla Farfalle)
1 26-oz jar of red pasta sauce (I like Classico Florentine Spinach & Cheese)
1 16-oz jar of alfredo style sauce (eg. Classico Creamy Alfredo)
2 12-oz packages frozen peas, preferably steam-in-bag style ("Birds Eye Steamfresh")
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, combine sauces in a saucepan, cover, and heat over low heat until bubbling (this may require entire pasta cooking time, including water boiling time). With five minutes left on the pasta cooking time, cook the peas in the microwave. When all is ready, strain the pasta and peas and combine with the sauce in a large dish.
