Broccoli Cheese Soup - TastyPlanner.com

Cheesy soup with broccoli
Ingredients
2 tsp olive oil
1/2 Cup onions chopped
16 oz Frozen broccoli floretts
29 oz canned chicken broth
6 oz velveeta
1/2 Cup milk
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 Cup water
1/4 Cup cornstarch
Instructions
Heat oil in a large saucepan over med heat. Add onion and cook 3 min, until soft. Add Broccoli and broth and bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer about 3 min/until brocoli is tender. Reduce heat to low add cheese, stir until melted; stir in milk and garlic powder. In seperate bowel whisk water and cornstarch add to mixture and simmer about two minutes.
