Brown butter balsamic ravioli - TastyPlanner.com

Awesome brown butter balsamic glazed ravioli. Instant family favorite.

Ingredients
1 package, 12 to 16 ounces, fresh ravioli, any flavor filling
3 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
5 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 handfuls grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
salt and pepper
1/4 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley, a couple of handfuls
Instructions
In a large pot (duch oven) bring water to boil and season with salt.
Add ravioli to the pot and return to a GENTLE boil until all ov the raviol floats.
While the ravioli is cooking, heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add butter and begin to brown.
Once the butter is browned nicely and smells slightly nutty, drain the ravioli and add it to the skillet.
Toss the ravioli and heat through. A very light sear on the ravioli is nice. Add the balsamic vinegar ot the ravioli and cook a miniute or two longer and glaze the ravioli. The vinegar will become thick and syrup like. Add cheese, parsley, salt and pepper to the pasta and remove the pan from the heat.
