Christmas Ornaments - TastyPlanner.com

This is not something you eat but I couldnt put it as anything else. It is making Christmas Ornaments. It is a lot of fun to do with kids and very easy. Kind of messy. But Lots of fun and smells great!!
Ingredients
1 1/2 c granulated cinnamon
1 c applesauce
1/2 c elmers glue
You will need a bowl
plastic food wrap
rolling pine
wax paper
cookie cutters or a knife
ribbon or string
staw
Instructions
1. Mix cinnamon, applesause and glue together in a bowl.The dough should be thick like cookie dough. However if it is to think you can add water.
2. Kneed and then put in a bowl and cover with plastic. Let sit for at least a half hour.
3. Remove and then kneed again to make sure it is smooth. Roll out flat around 1/4" to 1/8" thick.
4. Cut out desired shapes. And then use the straw to make a hole for the string.
5. Gently set on wax paper. Let dry for 3 to 5 days and turn a couple times a day.
Dont be surprised if the ornaments shrink a little.
