Another recipe from my grandma’s notebook. Don’t overbake!

Ingredients
1 1/3 cups shortening
2 cups brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tbsp water
2 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
2/3 cup cocoa
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
4 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
Cream shortening, brown sugar, eggs, water and vanilla on medium speed. Sift flour, cocoa, salt, and soda together. Add to creamed mixture gradually. Mix until well blended. Add chocolate chips. Drop by tablespoonful onto baking sheet, leaving room for spreading. Bake at 375 for 7 to 9 minutes.
