Thick, creamy clam chowder.
Ingredients
1 can clams, save juice
1/2 onion, chopped
4 potatoes, cubed and cooked
3/4 c butter
3/4 C flour
1 qt milk
1 tsp sugar
salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Pour clam juice over onion and cook until tender. Melt butter, add flour, and bend together. Add milk and stir over heat until thick. Add clams and vegetables. Heat but do not boil.
