Coca Cola Cake
Ingredients
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
3 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. Coca-Cola
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 1/3 cups butter
2 Tbsp cocoa
6 Tbsp coca cola
1 cup pecans
Instructions
Sift together flour and sugar in a bowl. Heat butter, marshmallows, cocoa and coca-cola together. Pour over flour mixture. Add beaten eggs; mix well. Put baking soda in milk and add to mix.
Bake in 9 × 13 inch pan, greased for 33 minutes at 350 degrees and test with toothpick.
Icing: Bring to a boil 1 1/2 cups butter, 2 tablespoons cocoa and 6 tablespoons coca-cola. Pour over 1 box confectioners’ sugar and beat until creamy. Add 1 cup broken pecans and spread icing on cake. Serve from pan.
