Corn Chowder - TastyPlanner.com

This recipe is a combination of my mom and grandmas style and my friend Steph. We never have left overs, it doesnt matter how much I make.

Ingredients
1 lb bacon
1 onion
7 large potatoes
1 pint half/half
1/2 stick butter
1 can cream corn
1 can reg corn (drained)
chicken stock
2 cups bisquick and box
Instructions
cook bacon until slightly done in pot
drain off fat. chop onion and add, cook until bacon is well done, nearly burnt. add chicken stock to cover and simmer while you peel & cut up potatoes. Add potatoes and water and cook until potatoes are tender.
Add both cans of corn, half&half, butter and salt and pepper. STIR well.
My Favorite part, make dumplins as directed on bisquick box.
I drop by spoonful on top but I do not let it boil completely. cover for 10 min, then remove cover for another 10 min.
