Spicy crabcakes with a dijon cream sauce.
Ingredients
***Crab Cakes***
1 lb Lump Crab meat
3/4 cup Bread crumbs
1/4 cup Mayo
1/8 cup dijon mustard
1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
2 tsp lemon juice
1 egg
2 tsp cayenne pepper
2 tsp worchestershire sauce
salt and pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp canola oil
***Sauce***
1/4 cup Mayo
1/4 cup dijon mustard
1 tsp lemon juice
Instructions
Crab cakes:
Mix ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour. Heat canola and olive oils in a frying pan. Form mixture into patties approx 3 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick and fry cakes over medium heat on both sides until golden brown, about 4 minutes a side. Move to paper towels to remove excess oil.
Sauce:
Mix ingredients in a bowl and serve with finished crab cakes.
