Cranberry Tart - TastyPlanner.com

This is a great choice for a quick and easy tart that tastes as good a it looks.
Ingredients
CRUST
2 C. graham cracker crumbs
6 T. unsalted butter, melted
1 T. granulated sugar
1/4 t. salt
FILLING AND TOPPING
8 ounce pkg. of cream cheese, softened
1/3 C. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 t. vanilla extract
1 can (16 ounces) whole-berry cranberry sauce
1/2 C. confectioners' sugar
Instructions
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
CRUST
2. In a medium bowl, stir graham cracker crumbs, butter, sugar, and salt, until crumbs are evenly moistened. Press crumbs into a 10-inch round removable-bottom tart pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
FILLING AND TOPPING
3. In a medium-size bowl, with an electric miser, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg and vanilla. Spread into crust. Pour cranberry sauce into a small bowl; stir to loosen. Dollop onto cream cheese mixture.
4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, until set. Remove to a wire rack; cool completely. Transfer to refrigerator to chill.
5. Blend confectioners’ sugar and 2 t. water in a small bowl. Place in a small resealable plastic bag and snip off a corner. Drizzle over tart and allow to dry. Slice and serve.
