Ingredients
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon half and half (milk also works)
1 1/2 cups cool whip, thawed
1 store-bought graham cracker crumb pie crust
1 cup milk
2 3-ounce packages vanilla instant pudding
1 16-ounce can pumpkin
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
Mix cream cheese, half and half, and sugar in a bowl with a wire whisk until smooth. Stir in whipped topping and spread mixture over graham cracker crust; set aside. Pour 1 cup milk into a medium bowl, add pudding mixes, and beat with whisk for 1 minutes. Mixture will be quite thick. Stir in pumpkin and spices with wire whisk until well mixed. Spread over cream cheese layer. Chill in refrigerator for 4 hours, until set. If desired garnish with additional whipped topping and sprinkle lightly with a little nutmeg.
