Ingredients
1 pound skinless, boneless chicken breasts, chopped
64 oz chicken broth
1 lg Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
frozen peas
frozen carrots
2 1/4 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk
3 tbsp flour
Instructions
Mix the chicken broth and cream of mushroom soup in a large pot. Add the chicken and heat until cooked through. Mix the flour with a little water; add to mixture to thicken the broth to taste.
Add the frozen peas and carrots – about a cup of each or to taste – and heat until not quite boiling. Stir thoroughly and turn the heat down to simmer.
Mix the Bisquick with the milk to form a dough. Cut the dough into pieces (or drop it with a spoon) into the pot, then cover tightly and cook on low for about 15 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through.
