Salisbury Steak
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 large onion
1 small green pepper
8oz package Button Mushrooms
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 pkgs brown gravy mix
Instructions
Slice mushrooms and 1/2 of the onion put aside for later use, chop the other 1/2 of the onion, finely chop green pepper.
Combine ground beef, chopped onion, green pepper, garlic powder salt and pepper in a large bowl.
Form beef mixture into 4 equal patties, cook in pan with oil until no pink shows in the center.
Remove beef patties from pan, add the mushrooms and remaining onion to the pan and saute until onion is transulucent.
In the same pan prepare gravy mix according to package directions. Add patties back into gravy and simmer for about 20 minutes.
Serve with mashed potatoes.

It was ok. 2 packages of gravy mix was too much for my family and much of it went to waste. We did serve homemade mashed potatoes w/it. Yummmmm. This will be a staple come fall/winter.
