Fast Turkey Pot Pie - TastyPlanner.com

Easy, fast, delicious turkey pot pie. No salt is called for as most broths have plenty.

Ingredients
2 store bought pie crusts, in a tin
2 tbs. Butter
2 tbs. flour
2 cups chicken (or turkey) broth
1 Tsp. pepper
1 10 oz package of Birdseye mixed vegetables
10 oz diced turkey (1" squares)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350, place a sheet of aluminum foil on the bottom to catch any drippings from the pie. Place pie crusts on a counter.
While oven is warming, in a large saucepan over medium heat melt the butter then wisk in the flour. Wisk in broth, bring to a boil then turn off the heat.
Mix in the vegtables, turkey and pepper. Pour the mixture into one of the pie pans.
carefully remove the crust from the second pie pan and use it to top the filled pie pan (don’t worry about some small cracks). Use a fork to press the top the crust into the bottom crust to seal the crusts together. Cut a few 2" slices in the top crust.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the crust is crisp and the filling is bubbling.
