Fresh Tomato, Basil, and Ricotta Sauce - TastyPlanner.com

Yield: 3 cups or enough for 1 pound pasta.
Ingredients
3 cups chopped ripe tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped fresh bluebonnet basil
2 tbsp minced red onion
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 pound pasta of your choice
Instructions
Combine the tomatoes, basil, onion and garlic. Stir in the ricotta, oil, and salt and pepper to taste. Toss hot pasta with the sauce and serve.
