Frozen Strawberry Slush - TastyPlanner.com

Ingredients
1/4 cup sparkling wine, such as Prosecco
1 pint lemon sorbet, slightly softened
1/3 cup berry using strawberries puree - made from the below ingredients:
1 1/2 cup raspberries or quartered hulled strawberries - 6 ounces
1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
1) Make berry puree: In a blender, puree 1 1/2 cups (6 oz) raspberries or strawberries and 1 tbsp sugar until smooth. Strain mixture through a fine mesh sieve’ discard solids.
2) Chill four small glasses in the freezer. Using an electric mixer, beat wine, 1/2 the sorbet, and 1/2 the berry puree on medium-high until uniform in color. Add remaining sorbet and berry puree; beat until soft, yet holds peaks (do not overmix or mixture will melt). Spoon into chilled glasses. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
