can use all beef if need be
Ingredients
1 lb gr. beef
1/2 lb gr. lamb
1 1/2 T. mint
1/2 c soft breadcrumbs
2 eggs
1 med onion, chopped
1 1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Tomato Sauce:
1/2 tsp Dry Basil
1 can tomato sauce
Yogurt Sauce:
1 c plain yogurt
1 clove garlic
1/4 c chopped parsley
Instructions
Mix ingred of yogurt sauce and cover and refrig.
Lg. bowl – combine beef, lamb, br.crumbs, eggs onion, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs and place in 3 qt. casserole or 9×13 pan. Bake uncovered at 475 for 20 min. Reduce to 400 and pour tomato sauce over meatballs and bake for 10 min more. Serve w/ yogurt sauce at table
