Grilled Flat Iron Steaks - TastyPlanner.com

This steak is fairly cheap and is easy to grill.

Ingredients
3 lbs Flat Iron Steak
Instructions
Take the steaks out of the fridge and let sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the meat to room temperature.
Apply the dry rub liberally on both sides. Ensure you rub the RUB into the meat.
Let the meat sit in the fridge for up to 4 hours in order for the rub to carmelize and sink into the outer skin of the steaks.
Take the meat out of the fridge and let sit for 15 minutes to get to room temperature.
Prep the grill to 350 degrees F. Have one side of the grill with direct and the other with indirect heat.
Slap the meat onto the direct heat side. Let cook for 5 minutes each side to get the sear marks.
Move the steaks to the indirect side for 20-25 minutes. Do not turn.
Remove the steaks once it is done to your likeness, let rest for 10 minutes.
Cut the steaks in small 1/4 in. or 1/2 in. slices against the grain.
