Ingredients
6 C. all-purpose flour, plus
1/2 C. flour
3 eggs
2 C. pineapple juice
3/4 C. sugar
1/2 Tsp. ginger
1 Tsp. vanilla
2 (1/4 ounce) envelopes yeast
1/2 C. butter or margarine, melted (one stick)
Instructions
1. First beat the eggs. Then combine eggs, pineapple juice, sugar, ginger, vanilla, and butter.
2. Add 3 cups of flour to a large bowl. Stir in the egg mixture until thoroughly combined. Sprinkle in the yeast, one packet at a time, and mix.
3. Add the remaining 3 cups of flour and mix thoroughly. You may need to use your hands or a dough hook if using a stand mixer. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
4. Remove from the bowl and knead in 1/2 cup flour. Knead about 10 times. Divide into three equal parts.
5. Place in greased and floured loaf pans or shape into rolls. Cover and place in a warm place to rise for 1 hour.
6. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or golden brown.
