Use both grapeseed and applesauce to cut costs, you still get those healthy fats without the steep price. If you’re not worried about cost, use all grapeseed oil.
I have not made this recipe yet, they original recipe does not specify how much water to use and some reviews said that it was a very dry cake. Will update as soon as I make this and figure out how much water it takes. If you decide to make it anyway, please let me know what you did and how it turned out please!
ETA: I made this and its horrible as was(changing ingredients if you’ve already printed this), it tasted like a lemon omelet ::bleh::
oats do not have gluten in them naturally but some oats get cross contaminated with gluten from processing wheat in the same factory. for 100% gluten free oats go here…

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup flour, whole grain
1/4 cup grapeseed oil
1 tsp baking powder
2 large egg, fresh
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 Lemon, zest
1/2 cup soy milk
1/4 cup Lemon
1/4 cup turbinado sugar
Instructions
Combine oil, eggs and milk. Stir well.
Mix all dry ingredients.
Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients.
Mix well.
Pour into a 9-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350F for 45-55 minutes.
Remove from oven. Cool 5 minutes. frost or glaze as pleased.
Serve warm or cold.
