Kiwi pumpkin soup - TastyPlanner.com

Good old fashioned basic kiwi pumpkin soup. Freezes well.

Ingredients
1 whole pumpkin or butternut
2 tspn Cumin
1 tspn nutmeg
3 potatoes
3 cups chicken stock
125ml - 250ml cream
1 tspn garlic
1tspn ginger
Instructions
Cook onion, ginger, garlic, cumin and nutmeg in frypan until onion is clear. Add chopped pumpkin and coat pumpkin in the juices. When coated transfer to crockpot. Pour enough chicken stock (approx 3 cups) over pumpkin to just cover it. Leave to cook for 6-8 hours on low. Mash or put through blender when cooked.
