Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup all bran
1 cup Crisco, heaping
2 eggs, beaten
2 packages yeast
6 cups flour
2 tsp salt
Instructions
Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water. Combine sugar, All Bran, Crisco, with 1cup hot (not boiling) water. When water has cooled slightly, add eggs then yeast. Stir in flour and salt. Put dough in refrigerator over night (or up to 2 days).
Remove dough from refrigerator and pat into 1" thick layer. Cut into 2" rolls using a glass or cut into squares. Melt 1/4 cup Crisco in two 9" round pans. Turn rolls over in Crisco as you place them into pans, so Crisco coats them. Cover with saran wrap or damp paper towels and let rise for 60-90 minutes (until doubled). Uncover and bake at 375ยบ for 20 minutes or until done.
