Ingredients
Carrots
Rutabaga
salt
butter
Instructions
Bring pot of water to boil
in the mean time cut up rutabaga and carrots (I cut mine small so they cook faster).
Add the rutabaga to boiling water first as it is a harder vegetable. Shortly after add the carrots.
When soft (stick a fork in a carrot and a rutagaba and if it slides out easily it is done).
Sprinkle with salt
add a good lump of butter
and mash it together. I like to mash mine leaving it a little bit chunky.
