Meatloaf Muffins with Barbecue Sauce - TastyPlanner.com

Ingredients
Vegetable or olive oil (for pan)
1.5 lbs ground sirloin
1 small yellow onion, cut into quarters
1 small green bell pepper
a splash of milk
1 large egg, beaten
1 cup plain bread crumbs
2 tbsp grill seasoning
1 cup smoky barbecue sauce
1/2 cup tomato salsa
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
2. Brush a 6-muffin (large size) tin with oil.
3. Put ground beef into a bowl.
4. Put onion quarters into a food processor.
5. Cut bell pepper (wash and remove seeds) and place into food processor. Process pepper and onion until finely chopped. Add to the meat bowl.
6. Whisk the milk into the beaten egg. Add to meat.
7. Add bread crumbs and grill seasoning.
8. In a small bowl, mix barbecue sauce, salsa, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour half into the bowl with the mealoaf mix. Set the rest aside.
9. Mix the meatloaf together with your hands.
10. Scoop meat into muffin tin.
11. Top each muffin wiht a spoonful of reserved sauce.
12. Bake for 15 minutes.
