A heart-warming soup

Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef or left over roast
6 c. water
28 oz. tomatoes, crushed
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped
1 c. carrots, sliced
2 t. salt
1 t. worchestersire
1/4 t. pepper
2 bay leaves
1 clove minced garlic
14 oz. Can Red Kidney Beans
1 c. shreaded cabbage (optional)
1/2 c. maccaroni
1 3/4 c. parmesean cheese, grated
Instructions
In a large stock pot, brown the ground beef. Drain fat. Add water, undrained tomatoes, onion, celery, carrot, salt, worchestershire, pepper, bay leaves and garlic to ground beef. Mix well. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer. Cover, stirring occasionally for about 1 hour. Drain beans. Add beans, cabbage and maccaroni to the mixture and mix well. Simmer on low for about 30 minutes. Stir occasionally. Discard bay leaves. Serve and sprinkle with parmesean.
