My uncle Michael is famous for his spicy, not-your-average-barbecue-side baked beans. I love them.

Ingredients
1 can each kidney, black, chili beans
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. mustard
2 Tbsp. BBQ sauce
1/2 lb. bacon
1 tsp. Tabasco sauce (optional)
1/4 c. sliced pickled jalapeños (optional)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients except bacon in a 9×13 casserole dish; top with bacon strips. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hrs. For spicy beans, add Tabasco sauce or sliced pickled jalapenos.
