Ingredients
2 Lbs. Ground Beef (can sub in ground turkey)
1/4 cup red wine
2 tbs. Butter
1 tbs. olive oil
1 medium onion
3 Cloves garlic (or to taste)
2 large cans of stewed/crushed tomatoes
1/4 cup of fresh basil
Instructions
Brown ground beef. Drain the fat. Set aside.
In same pot, add olive oil and butter. Saute onion and garlic until onions are soft.
Deglaze pan with wine and reduce by half.
Add cooked meat.
Simmer at least 35 minutes, or as long as desired. Add to cooked pasta.
