Peanut Butter Rice Crispy Treats - TastyPlanner.com

Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 (10 ounce) package regular marshmallows
OR
1 cup Karo syrup (light or dark)
1 cup sugar
OR
one jar Marshmellow Sauce
1 cup peanut butter
6 cups KELLOGG'S® RICE KRISPIES® cereal
Instructions
1.In large saucepan melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until melted.
2.Add KELLOGG’S® RICE KRISPIES® cereal. Stir until well coated.
3.Using buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13 × 9 × 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cool. Cut into 2-inch squares. Best if served the same day.
For a more Christmas-y feel, you can add green and red colored M&Ms (about a cup or so) to the recipe when you add the cereal.
