Pesto Penne with Links - TastyPlanner.com

Serve with a sprinkling of parmesan cheese and alongside a steamed vegetable like broccoli or cauliflower.
Ingredients
1 lb tube pasta: penne, mostaccioli, rigatoni, etc.
1 10-oz jar pesto sauce (eg. Classico traditional basil pesto)
2 7-oz packages pre-cooked sausage links (eg. Banquet "Brown-n-Serve") - regular, turkey, or beef. Can also use vegetarian links.
Instructions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, prepare sausage links according to package directions. When pasta is done, combine thoroughly with pesto sauce. Serve 1/4 of the pasta mixture with 1/2 of one box of sausage (5 links).
