Ingredients
Onion 1
1 tbsp oil
1.5 Tbsp butter
1 Tbsp green pepper corn
1 Tbsp parsley
2 Tbsp fresh parmesan
2 pork chops
Instructions
We start by frying the onions. Take butter and oil, mix it in a pan, and heat it for a few minutes. I dont know why we mix both butter and oil together; have tried this with oil only but the onions dont taste that good when fried in oil alone.
Cut the onion into thin strips. Avoid cutting the onions too fine; the long strips taste much better. Add the onion to the frying pan and fry till the onions turn golden. Do this over medium heat so that you dont risk burning the onions.
Add salt, green peppercorn, and parsley as per your taste (recommeded quantities are mentioned in the list of ingridients) to the pan. Continue to fry a little longer. Add freshly grated parmesan and mix together.
On a separate pan, add some oil and fry the pork chops; season with salt (according to the taste). While frying the pork chops, prepare the oven by preheating it to about 400 degrees. Transfer the fried pork chops into another dish, cover with the fried onions, and allow it to bake. You can also add some cheese to it if you prefer. Take it out after about 15 minutes and serve as is.
