Potato Casserole - TastyPlanner.com

This is an excellent potato casserole baked in the oven with a crispy top layer of corn flakes. To die for. A very popular dish during the holidays.
Ingredients
6 medium potatoes (boil with skins on)(or a bag of frozen hashbrowns)
1 can cream of chicken or mushroom or broccoli (I usually use cream of broccoli)
1 1/2 cup grated cheese (I use cheddar)
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 pint sour cream
1 cup cornflakes
1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
(Instead of the potatoes, you can use a bag of frozen hashbrowns)
Boil potatoes until you can barely get a fork into them
Cool potatoes or leave in the frig overnight (covered)
Grate potatoes (or use hashbrowns)and mix together with soup, cheese, onions, and sour cream in a casserole dish.
Top with corn flakes mixed with melted butter
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
