Red beans and rice - TastyPlanner.com

A new orleans staple and this is the super easy version.
Ingredients
1 can of blue runner beans,
1 cup of long grain rice
6 inches of sausage
Instructions
1. Slice up sausage and brown in a 2-quart size pot.
2. Once browned add a can of beans bring to a boil and simmer.
3. In another pot boil two cups of water and then add salt. Bring to a boil and then simmer.
4. Serve beans over rice.
