Ingredients
1 1/2 C scalded milk
1/2 c shortening
1/2 c sugar
2 pkg. dry yeast
2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
7 cups flour
Instructions
Melt shortening in milk. Add sugar to dissolve. Let cool to 95-105 degrees.
Dissolve yeast in cooled milk.
Add eggs, salt, and 6 cups flour. Knead until smooth, adding up to one more cup of flour if needed. Let dough rise until double.
Shape rolls, let rise again.
Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes.
