Roasted Asparagus - TastyPlanner.com
This recipe is so simple and so good you will want to have it with every meal. You will never steam asparagus (or use canned-heaven forbid) again.
1 bunch asparagus
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp freshly ground pepper corns
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 tbsp parmesan cheese (optional)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Arrange asparagus in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Lightly coat with olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Add garlic powder and/or cheese if desired. Bake until ends begin to brown, about 12-15 minutes, or until asparagus is tender. Remove from oven. Serve immediately.
