Roasted Red Pepper Soup - TastyPlanner.com

I finally figured out how to replicate the roasted red pepper soup I used to buy in box cartons. This is actually better!

Ingredients
1/2 and 1/2 creamer
chicken broth
red bell pepper
sea salt
red pepper flakes
ground black pepper
tomato puree
parsley flakes
Instructions
Unfortunately I did not measure exact amounts because I was experimenting. Next time I will measure and go back in and put amounts.
For now:
Cut into strips and saute red bell pepper in bottom of soup pot. Add in creamer and tomato puree and then whisk until blended. Proportionally, the ratio is almost half creamer and half puree. Season with red pepper flakes, sea salt, parsley and ground black pepper to taste. Whisk in chicken broth and then simmer for a few minutes to blend flavors. The chicken broth should be only about 15% of the total.
