Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup chopped nuts
powdered sugar
Colored sugar crystals
Instructions
Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add salt, and nuts, then work in flour, until dough holds together. Shape into 1" balls.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet. They do not spread.
Bake at 350 f for 10-12 min. until set, but not brown.
If using colored sugar crystals, roll balls in it before placing on cookie sheet
If using powdered sugar, roll after baking, while still warm
