Sautéed Green Beans and Pears - TastyPlanner.com
Uses frozen beans

1 pkg (12 oz.) frozen steam-in-bag green beans
2 pears, peeled and sliced
2 Tablespoons melted butter
2 Tablespoons brown sugar
2 Tablespoons balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper, to taste
1. Prepare 1 (12-oz.) package frozen steam-in-bag whole green beans according to package directions.
2. Meanwhile, sauté 2 peeled and sliced pears with 2 Tbsp. each of melted butter, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar in a large skillet over medium-high heat 5 minutes or until crisp-tender. Stir in hot green beans, and sprinkle with salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
