Makes one unforgettable and amazing meal.
Ingredients
12 hard-boiled eggs, well chilled. An additional bowl of beaten eggs for dipping will be needed also.
- Cook them to right past the soft-boiled stage then stick them in the coldest part of the fridge so they will harden up.
2 pounds of ground turkey meat.
- Season the turkey meat with sage, white pepper, sea salt and a tiny bit of maple syrup and olive oil.
1 cup of all-purpose flour.
1 1/2 cups of toasted whole meal bread.
- Make some toasted whole meal bread, and then allow it to cool and then blitz it into submission.
Instructions
Peel chilled eggs, and separate the 2 pounds of meat into 12 equal portions.
Roll each egg in the flour, and then press the meat into a patty with a small depression in the center.
Place the egg in the depression and form the meat around the egg.
Dip the sausage-wrapped egg into beaten egg and roll in the bread crumbs.
Heat your oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
Place on a baking-tray and let bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool and then place back in a the semi-warm oven to keep them warm until you are reading to serve them.
