Ingredients
6 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
3 t. chili powder
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
2 t. cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
1 T. oil
3 cloves garlic, pressed
1 onion, chopped
2 4-oz cans diced green chilies
1 c. chicken broth
3 T. flour
3 T. water
3/4 c. low fat sour cream
Instructions
Rub both sides of each chicken breast halves with mixture of chili powder, cayenne, cumin, salt and pepper. In a skillet, heat oil on medium high heat and brown chicken on both sides; about 3 minutes each. Add garlic, onion, chilies, and chicken broth. Cover and simmer on low for 15-20 minutes. Remove chicken pieces to platter, draining juices back into skillet, and keep warm. In a jar, add together flour and water and vigorously shake, then stir into sauce, stirring constantly, until thickened. When sauce has thickened, add sour cream and serve.
